This brand new event will deliver solutions specifically for those professionals responsible for ongoing and emergency vessel maintenance.
NEW ORLEANS, LA, November 11, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Professionals involved in commercial vessel maintenance and repair have been seeking a comprehensive event for their sector for a long time. Now it's arrived, thanks to the same people that produce the award-winning International WorkBoat Show each year in New Orleans.
The inaugural WorkBoat Maintenance & Repair Conference and Expo will be held April 14-16, 2015, at the Morial Convention Center in New Orleans. To register, visit www.WorkBoatMaintenanceandRepair.com.
"This brand new event will deliver solutions specifically for those who are responsible for vessel maintenance and is designed to be very different from the large WorkBoat Show," said Bob Callahan, show director, Diversified Communications. "With a custom-tailored conference program, a highly focused exhibit hall and extensive networking events, the maintenance and repair event will deliver solutions specifically for the professionals responsible for ongoing and emergency vessel maintenance."
The new WorkBoat Maintenance & Repair Conference and Expo will feature conference sessions that don't compete with the exhibit hall. The full day conference, held on opening day of the event, does not conflict with exhibit hall hours. "No more choosing between learning and walking the floor," Callahan said. "Now you get the best of both."
Callahan noted that the comprehensive conference program is customized to address the specific needs of those responsible for ongoing maintenance and repair. Topics will be divided into three key tracks: Structure & Hull; Power & Propulsion; and Regulations.
If you are interested in presenting a topic based on one of these tracks, please contact Lisa Keller at (207) 842-5624 or [email protected].
While the larger WorkBoat Show exhibitor hall focuses heavily on new construction, WorkBoat Maintenance & Repair exhibitors will focus exclusively on products that relate to professionals who have vessel repair and maintenance responsibilities. "With fewer, more targeted exhibits, you'll meet the experts that will help you get the job done right, and on time and on budget," Callahan said.
Finally, vessel maintenance and repair professionals will be able to connect with experts and peers through a variety of daily networking events, including: coffee breaks, keynote breakfasts and luncheons, and happy hours. "These events are designed to make sure you connect with the right people without relying exclusively on after hours activities," Callahan noted.
