O. Christopher Meyers Celebrates Two Decades as AV Preeminent Attorney

Drawing on more than 45 years of experience, Mr. Meyers is regarded as an expert in taxation and litigation for estates, corporations, and individuals. Skilled in handling complex cases and resolving contested and complex estate and taxation matters, Mr. Meyers is committed to helping clients minimize tax liability, avoid probate, aid clients in properly documenting and carrying out their estate plans, and aid families when undue influence or fraud are encountered in trusts or estates. He is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma, Oklahoma Supreme Court, U.S. Tax Court, U.S. Court of Federal Claims, U.S. Court of Appeals for the 10th and Fifth Circuits, and U.S. Supreme Court. Mr. Meyers was initially inspired to pursue a career in law because several of the people he admired as a child were attorneys. He received a Master of Laws in Taxation from Georgetown University in 1972 and a JD from Oklahoma University School of Law in 1969. Recently inducted into Worldwide Registry, Mr. Meyers also maintains affiliation with the Oklahoma and American Bar Associations. He has served as the President of the Comanche County Bar Association and the Taxation Section of the Oklahoma Bar Association. He also served as a Governor of the Oklahoma Bar Association Board of Governors 2011- 2013.
