HOLA operates Monday through Saturday year round and all programs are free, an essential feature for the area's impoverished families. Heart of Los Angeles has three core academic programs and offers a wide variety of enrichment activities, including a comprehensive music department, a robust visual arts program, premier sports leagues and activities, leadership and healthy living classes, and a cutting edge scientific arts program. HOLA operates on a four-building, 32,000 square foot campus in and around LaFayette Park. "We are so thrilled to be celebrating our 25th anniversary. This is an extraordinary milestone and as we look to the future, we hope to expand our reach to meet the increasing demand for our services," said Tony Brown, HOLA's Executive Director.
