SAN DIEGO, CA, December 11, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Jackson Design & Remodeling (JDR) announced today the company will complete its 25th act of giving back this year with the Toys for Tots Holiday Toy Drive. JDR will collect toys at its Kearny Mesa Showroom through Dec. 19. Celebrating its 25th year in business in 2014, the company's unique "25 in 25" community service initiative brought JDR team members into the community to donate their time to support 25 great charitable organizations across San Diego County.
"This year we set out to thank the San Diego community for supporting and contributing to the growth of JDR over the past 25 years," said Todd Jackson, Founder and CEO of Jackson Design and Remodeling. "Our entire staff worked together as a team every step of the way from choosing the organizations they are passionate about, to volunteering at all 25 events throughout the year. This initiative has exceeded our expectations. Not only have we been able to support local charities, but it's brought our team closer together as we worked alongside one another to help those less fortunate in our community. We are excited to celebrate this holiday season and our 25th act of the year with the annual Toys for Tots toy drive, an organization we have happily supported over the past decade."
The U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program collects and delivers new toys to less fortunate children in the community with the purpose of sending a message of hope to youngsters that will motivate them to become responsible, productive, patriotic citizens and community leaders.
JDR staff will collect new, unwrapped toys at the company's Kearny Mesa showroom, located at 4797 Mercury Street, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays, through Dec. 19.
Some highlights from JDR's "25 in 25" include:
Ronald McDonald House Fundraiser
