ORLANDO, FL, December 12, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Sandra J. Sha, MD, Radiation Oncologist of Watson Clinic Cancer Center (Center for Cancer Care & Research), has been recognized for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in radiation oncology.
Dr. Sha has 12 years of experience, with 11 years as a radiation oncologist of the Watson Clinic Cancer Center (Center for Cancer Care & Research). Throughout her career, she has set herself apart as an expert in women's health, breast cancer treatment and research and gynecologic cancers. She is also skilled in all areas of radiation oncology. On a daily basis, she is responsible for conducting radiation oncology sessions for her patients. She has published papers on AccuBoost regarding new techniques.
Looking back, Dr. Sha became involved in her profession because she wanted to be able to help people through difficult times, and to have the ability to cure them during this kind of time is a privilege to her. Everyone knows someone who has been affected by cancer, and she is proud to be able to help those afflicted by this condition.
Dr. Sha completed a residency at the Harvard Joint Center for Radiation Therapy and an internship at the Harvard Medical School Department of Internal Medicine. She earned an MD from Tufts University School of Medicine. In addition to her degree, Dr. Sha is board certified in radiation oncology. She was recently inducted into Worldwide Registry and also maintains affiliation with the American Society for Therapeutic Radiation Oncology, the American College of Radiology and the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
