LOS ANGELES, CA, January 22, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- "Shoot To Kill," starring Art LaFleur, premieres on YouTube. The project marks the first time Mr. LaFleur has appeared in an Internet series. One of the most recognizable and respected character actors working today, LaFleur has amassed a resume of over 150 film and television credits, including starring roles in such classics as "Field of Dreams," "The Sandlot" and "The Santa Clause."
"Shoot To Kill," shot with a gritty film noir look, stars LaFleur as John, a documentary filmmaker doing research on a new project about serial killers. He is approached by Philip (Sam Ingraffia), who seems to be just an average guy, until he reveals to John that he has killed 17 people and never been apprehended. A complicated relationship quickly develops between the two men, as John must decide if Philip is a sociopath, seeking his fifteen minutes of fame, or a cunning murderer.
"Shoot To Kill" was created and written by award-winning actor/writer/producer Sam Ingraffia. Mr. Ingraffia's prolific writing and producing credits include feature films, Network pilots, episodic television and HBO comedy specials. He has also been an actor for over 30 years; working with such acclaimed directors as Oliver Stone, John Schlesinger, Ron Howard, Robert Zemeckis and Mike Newell. This project is his first time producing an Internet series.
The series was directed by Indie film veteran Jon D. Wagner.
