David E. McFarland, President Named Executive of the Year in Business Management

    TAMPA, FL, January 27, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- David E. McFarland, President of Quality Marine Refrigeration, has been named a Worldwide Branding Executive of the Year in Business Management. While inclusion in Worldwide Branding is an honor, only a small selection of members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, years of service, and the credentials they have provided in association with their Worldwide Branding membership.

Mr. McFarland has 35 years of professional experience, with 17 years as the president of Quality Marine Refrigeration. His/her areas of expertise include Operations oversight. On a daily basis, he is responsible for overseeing daily business operations, as well as responding to customer service phone calls from around the world. Mr. McFarland continues to build quality machines and serve the needs of many of the "old" turbo marine customers, and has developed many new customers in the fishing industry around the world. He builds condensing units, double contact plate freezers, brine tanks, receivers, and components for the units. His responsibility is mainly building the equipment, and he does handle a few clients. He now has six distributors selling equipment and they also perform service work.

Looking back, Mr. McFarland attributes his success to his years of experience and quality service. He became involved in his profession because he started working at age 22 for a company in the industry; times changed and the company was bought out. He then decided to go out on his own, a decision that he would later credit as the highlight of his career. In years to come, Mr. McFarland plans to continue building the company.
