Mr. Eaman is admitted to practice in all Michigan courts and the Federal Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, United States Supreme Court, Second Circuit Court of Appeals, Federal Court for the Western District of Michigan; pro hac vice admission to the Federal Court for the Southern District of New York, and the Federal Court for South Dakota.

Now celebrating his 44th year as a successful criminal defense attorney, Mr. Eaman continues to represent clients in increasingly difficult cases. Mr. Eaman has been an adjunct law professor at Thomas M. Cooley Law School and an instructor at the Criminal Defense Attorneys of Michigan Trial College for more than 10 years. He is also a frequent lecturer, workshop leader, moderator or panel participant for presentations by CDAM, National Conference of Chief Justices and State Court Administrators, and the Michigan Judicial Institute, among others. Mr. Eaman received a JD from the University of Michigan Law School. A recent inductee into Worldwide Registry, he also maintains affiliation with the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He was named among the Top Attorneys in Michigan in 2014 and has been named a Michigan Super Lawyer each year since 2008. He received the Distinguished Brief Award for Michigan Supreme Court briefs from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2011 and 2004. He also received the Right to Counsel Award from CDAM in 2004.
