Morris Papernik, MD, FACP, Honored for Skill and Longevity in Health Care

    GLASTONBURY, CT, March 03, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. Morris Papernik of ProHealth Physicians, has been recognized for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in internal medicine.

Dr. Papernik brings 29 years of experience to his position with ProHealth Physicians. Through his work in internal medicine, he fulfills his duties by taking care of patients and their needs, and serving as an adjunct professor at the University of Connecticut, Yale University, and Quinnipiac University.

When asked recently about what factors have led to his success, Dr. Papernik replied, "I always tell my students and residents that if you listen to your patients long enough they will tell you what's wrong with them. For me, it's making sure that I'm always available to my patients." He became involved in his profession because he was deeply interested in science and passionate about using his talent to make a positive difference in the lives of others. Going into internal medicine gives him the opportunity to see the broadest population and have the greatest impact.

Dr. Papernik completed internal medicine residency training at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke Medical Center, earning an MD from Rush Medical College of Rush University in Chicago. In addition to his degree, he holds a certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine. He was recently inducted into Worldwide Registry and also maintains affiliation with the American College of Physicians, the Connecticut Medical Society and the American Medical Association. In recognition of his many years of service, he received a Vitals 30th Anniversary Award in 2014, having also earned numerous Patients' Choice and Most Compassionate Doctor Awards since 2011. In five years, Dr. Papernik will continue to learn and improve his skills to help his patients.
