Mr. Marcus has led his practice for 33 years, focusing on debtor and creditor work. He also has an extensive background in commercial litigation, real estate development, collections and all aspects of bankruptcy practice. Overall, Mr. Marcus has nearly four decades of legal experience, and has been widely recognized for his efforts. After, attending Rutgers College, graduating with honors, and earning a JD from the Rutgers School of Law in 1976, Mr. Marcus completed a judicial clerkship with two Superior Court judges. He began his own practice in 1982, moving the firm to its current location in 1990.

Recently inducted into Worldwide Registry, Mr. Marcus also maintains affiliation as a board member of the Virtua Foundation. He is the former Chancellor of Rutgers Law School Alumni Association and former Solicitor for the Washington Township Chamber of Commerce. He has also served on the District IV Fee Arbitration Committee. Mr. Marcus is active with numerous civic and charitable organizations, and recently completed his term on the board of directors of The Archway School Foundation and The American Red Cross, South Jersey Chapter.
