Club Filipino, San Juan City, Metro Manila, Philippines, Catch Friday executives led by it's President, Danilo del Campo, pledged to its continued commitment in providing reasonably priced services despite threats of a global economic plunge following the US economy crisis.

This group formed to create a unified force to compete with global competitors met today to form an agreement in terms of possible actions to be taken on should the US economic crisis eventually creates a domino effect and spreads around the world.

"The crisis that is now largely being felt in the US is something that we should not actually be happy about as it is one of the countries that we support. We should not take advantage of the opportunity that we are confronted with considering the large volume of requirements that has sprung our way especially in the past few months," said Del Campo. "We should
adhere to our concept of providing quality results at a reasonable price. Let us not allow ourselves to just be a scapegoat at these times."

It has been part of the concerns of economists in the US that this recession that they're currently experiencing is largely brought about by the moves of companies to bring their jobs offshore because of the low cost that they get in doing so.

Mr. Del Campo refuses to believe that outsourcing is largely the cause of the widespread recession in the US. "We do not see ourselves as taking advantage simply because our labor costs are cheaper. On the contrary, I'd like to think that they go to us because of the quality of work that we provide."

Being one of the founders of the Organization of Outsourcing Companies in the Philippines, Del Campo stressed on the issue of the importance to quality and not volume. He further added that they are the first business that would feel this downtrend of economies therefore they should not make their foreign partners feel that they intend to take over their workforce.
Instead, he urged his fellow members to act reasonably in order to show that they aim to support and not take away jobs.
