Dr. Ralph Michael Steiger Recognized for Excellence in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Dr. Steiger lends three decades of experience to his position with Desert Regional Medical Center in Rancho Mirage
RANCHO MIRAGE, CA, March 19, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. Ralph Michael Steiger of Desert Regional Medical Center, has been recognized for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of obstetrics and gynecology.
Specialized in high-risk obstetrics, Dr. Steiger parlays more than 30 years into his position with Desert Regional Medical Center. There, he not only consults with patients in an effort to administer to difficult pregnancies and deliver healthy babies, but is the acting chairman of administrative affairs, bylaws, and obstetrics and gynecology committees on behalf of the medical practice. Dr. Steiger has been with Desert Regional for the past 11 years and served as Chief of Staff at that hospital.
Dr. Steiger is an alumnus of the David Geffen School of Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles. Recently inducted into Worldwide Registry, he was also an associate adjunct professor at the University of California at Irvine, where he was director of clinical clerkships in obstetrics and gynecology, a third-year program in obstetrics and gynecology. He is the former medical director of prenatal services at the Fountain Valley Regional Medical Center, and for outstanding contributions to the medical field, was named one of Palm Springs Life Top Doctors in 2012.
