Mrs. Nguyen brings 25 years of industry experience. An inventive and industrial professional, she is responsible for the creation of different dishes, as well as the overall administrative work of the restaurant. She always thinks of creative ways to do sushi in a better way daily, because her philosophy is to work only with the best and doesn't do it just for the money. All she needs to do is to discover the way how to make the customers satisfied with not only sushi but with warm and friendly service. On a daily basis, she manages all business operations and oversees the staff, food selection and presentation, as well as customer satisfaction. That is why she is observing every minor detail of what her customers like, and adapting her service accordingly.
Looking back, Mrs. Nguyen attributes her success to God; therefore, she is always grateful to God for His graces and blessings that have been bestowing upon her family and her business. She is a person of good will, compassion and open to those who are in need. Mrs. Nguyen also realizes that the human dignity should be respected and assisted, so she has built a special charity fund for 10 years to help the children and families who struggle each day just to survive in Vietnam.
She has a great passion for her business and this, coupled with her great customer service skills and positive attitude, have paved the way for her restaurant to thrive. She enjoys what she does and relishes providing fine food for her customers. Her introduction to the restaurant industry is an interesting and inspiring story. When she first moved to the U.S., she spoke very little English and began by working in various eateries. She started as a bus girl and was soon promoted, working with top executive chefs. Throughout these roles, however, she maintained her dream of starting her own business.
Mrs. Nguyen received a Bachelor of Business Studies from Louisiana State University in 1986. In recognition of Mrs. Nguyen's efforts, she was recently inducted into Worldwide Registry. Blue Ocean has been named as the Best of the Best, and has received a Best Restaurant in the Area Award from Dallas Magazine. In years to come, Mrs. Nguyen intends to mentor her son and daughter so that they can continue her legacy. She also hopes to experience the continued growth of the restaurant.
