Daniela Atanassova-Lineva, MD, Honored for Outstanding Pediatric Care

    ELMHURST, NY, April 03, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. Daniela Atanassova-Lineva of MDPeds, has been recognized for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in pediatrics.

Dr. Atanassova-Lineva has 15 years of professional experience with five as a physician with MDPeds. Through her extensive experience, she has established herself as an expert in emergency and adolescent medicine. On a day-to-day basis, she serves as an attending assistant of the pediatric emergency department at Elmhurst Hospital. She also maintains affiliation with the faculty of Long Island Jewish Hospital, and the New York Hospital of Queens and Mount Sinai. In addition, she is responsible for running a private practice. Dr. Atanassova-Lineva is multilingual, speaking English, French, Spanish, Russian and Bulgarian.

Understanding the importance of a strong educational background, Dr. Atanassova-Lineva earned an MD from the Medical University of Varna in Bulgaria in 1994. In addition, she completed a residency with Mount Sinai Hospital in 2003. She is board certified through the American Academy of Pediatrics and is a member of the section of adolescent medicine of the Academy of Pediatrics.

A recent inductee into Worldwide Registry, Dr. Atanassova-Lineva has also earned various other honors for her work. She received the Patients' Choice Award through Vitals and the On-Time Physician Award in 2014. She was honored among the Top 10 Pediatricians in 2013, and named a Compassionate Doctor in 2012. Apart from her professional contributions, she donates to the Ronald McDonald House Charities, as well as to organizations that help children in Nicaragua and Nepal.
