Dr. Stanley Castor Honored for 13 Years of Excellence in Plastic Surgery and Medical Practice

Dr. Castor is a member of American Board of Plastic Surgery, a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the Tampa Bay Society of Plastic Surgeons. Practicing since 1999, Dr. Castor has been the recipient of a bevy of awards, including a Vitals Patients' Choice Award (2008-2014) and a Patients' Choice 5th Anniversary Award (2012-2014), On-Time Doctor Award, Vitals (2014), and Compassionate Doctor recognition (2010-2013). In 1992, Dr. Castor earned an MD from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, and went on to complete internship and residency training in general surgery at Emory University Hospitals in Atlanta.

He then trained in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Cleveland Clinic Foundation and was appointed to a prestigious cosmetic surgery fellowship with world-renowned plastic surgeons Drs. Baker and Stuzin and Baker in Miami - a fellowship only offered to two plastic surgeons annually. He is a board certified plastic surgeon through the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
