Lydia Budiner Named Professional of the Year in Health Care Consulting

Ms. Budiner has 15 years of professional experience, with three years as a consultant, interim manager and trainer with special focus on oncology and rare diseases at Lydia Budiner Consulting. Throughout her career, she has set herself apart through her skills in project management, creativity and ability to find innovative, unique solutions to her customers' challenges. On a daily basis, she provides consulting services in the areas of marketing, medical services, sales and training for professional clients and stakeholders in oncology and pulmonary hypertension, as well as rare diseases. Lydia Budiner Consulting is a consultancy that provides support in stakeholder management, interim management and training, health care management and consulting services, including launch readiness, such as marketing, medical and sales, as well as training concepts and implementation.

Ms. Budiner speaks German, Spanish, English, French and Japanese. Looking back, she attributes her success to her creativity, open-minded thinking, high affinity for new technologies, innovative approaches and unique set of experience and skills. She became involved in her profession because she comes from a scientific background, and found oncology and pulmonary hypertension to be very interesting and challenging. She is dedicated to helping patients and ensuring that they are treated successfully, in addition to providing them with a good quality of life. The highlight of Ms. Budiner's career was her successful start as an entrepreneur in 2012, after approximately 12 years with Pharmacia and Pfizer. She started her company with a reliable business plan, and now serves three out of the top 10 pharmaceutical companies as her customers.

Ms. Budiner is pursuing a Ph.D. in gynecologic oncology from Universitätsklinikum Essen, having received a master's degree in engineering from the University of Applied Sciences Wedel in 1998 and a master's degree in biology from Universität Hamburg in 1995. In 1985, she became a qualified foreign language secretary in English, Spanish and French through Staatlichen Fremdsprachenschule Hamburg. In years to come, Ms. Budiner aims for continued growth and success. She would also like to obtain a senior management position with a company that specializes in oncology or rare diseases, introducing them to the European and German market, and building up the Oncology/Rare Disease BU from their early beginning.
