WASHINGTON, DC, May 03, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dora Carpenter, Owner of The ANIYA Group Life Coaching Center, has been recognized as a Distinguished Professional in her field through the National Association of Distinguished Professionals.
After working in the death care industry for over 10 years and hearing countless stories from families of unfulfilled hopes and dreams being buried in the cemetery, Dora Carpenter became passionate about helping individuals live out their dreams and experience happiness in the present. Pursuing grief and life coaching, she began offering free grief support workshops at local libraries in her community. By 2010, she and her daughter, Christina Ferguson, had launched The ANIYA Group Life Coaching Center.
Dedicated to inspiring and empowering individuals for personal and professional success, Ms. Carpenter is known for challenging and motivating clients to take action and work through life transitions, grief, and fear. Her gentle and empathetic approach is articulated in her coaching, authoring, speaking engagements, and mentorship. In her signature 'Decide to Say Yes!' coaching program, she inspires and empowers her clients to wake up loving life.

Ms. Carpenter is a certified life coach, certified grief coach, certified consumer's funeral consultant, and one of a select group personally licensed by internationally known, best-selling author and motivational speaker, Susan Jeffers, PhD, to teach her Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway work in the United States. She has also been featured as a guest on podcasts, radio, and television shows.
Ms. Carpenter can often be found doing community service in her free time, partnering with Skyler's Gift Foundation to support families who have lost an infant to prematurity and Women for Change Coaching Community where she provides one-on-one coaching to women who are financially challenged and seeking to make positive life changes. She also hosts free grief support events regularly in her local community.
Notably, Ms. Carpenter will be featured in the upcoming edition of the NADP Women of Distinction Magazine in 2015.
