Robert Andjelic Recognized by Worldwide Branding for Excellence in Agriculture

    CALGARY, AB, June 10, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Robert Andjelic, Entrepreneur, Businessman and Owner of Andjelic Farms Inc., Andjelic Land Inc. and Sun-X Properties Ltd., has been recognized by Worldwide Branding for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in agriculture.

An expert in agricultural production with a strong background in industrial real estate, Mr. Andjelic is currently at the helm of three different companies. He is the owner of Andjelic Farms Inc., which produces Canadian agricultural products such as cereals, oil seeds, durum wheat, chickpeas, lentils, flaxseed, mustard, dry peas, canola, soybeans and corn. Each year, he is devoting more acres to organic food production so that within the next few years, he will be at over 12,000 acres. Additionally, he oversees all operations of Andjelic Land Inc., which owns and manages nearly 200,000 acres of farmland in Saskatchewan. With strong skills in farmland management and enhancement, Mr. Andjelic coordinates rentals and management of the approximately 200,000 acres, of which about 7,000 are custom farmed. He also manages 28,000 acres on a crop sharing arrangement with other top quality producers, and rents out the rest of the land. He is further noted for his skills in grain handling and distribution.

Mr. Andjelic is also the owner of Sun-X Properties Ltd., a company through which he utilizes his talents in industrial warehouse office development and industrial real estate services. He started the company in 1987 as a developer, owner and operator of industrial real estate in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. He grew the company to owning and managing approximately 2.5 million square feet at its peak. A majority of his industrial real estate portfolio was sold in 2007, in the largest real estate transaction in the history of Manitoba. Mr. Andjelic then went into commodities trading, and then pursued opportunities in rare earth metals, later trading in gold and oil.

Throughout his business career, Mr. Andjelic has been interested in farming and food production and has owned farmland and operated small hobby farms for over 30 years. It was only after studying the future population growth, the world's arable land trends, fresh water distribution and the impact of global warming that he decided to immerse himself and all of his assets into farmland and food production, as he thought this was Canada's worldwide competitive edge.

Mr. Andjelic studied at the Daniel McIntyre Collegiate Institute in the 1960s. Looking toward the future, he intends to take his companies to the next phase with grain distribution and marketing.
