PENSACOLA, FL, August 10, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Baptist Medical Group MD Mark Thiele has been recognized for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in family medicine as well as allergy, asthma, diabetes and depression counseling.
Recognized for nearly a decade of invaluable contributions to his field, Dr. Thiele parlays his knowledge into his role with Baptist Medical Group. During the course of his daily routine, he provides medical care and consultations in all areas of family medicine for patients of all ages including children ages 5+ inside Baptist Medical Park Nine Mile. He was inspired to pursue this path after serving as a Navy Corpsman where he cared for Marines, and then in Somalia, Africa, where he provided care for families with no other medical resource (for which he received the United Nations Medal).
Board certified through the American Board of Family Medicine, Dr. Thiele excels in his field due to his prior experiences and his educational background, which includes an MD from St. Christopher's College of Medicine and a residency through Warren Hospital's Family Practice Residency Program, an affiliate of the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey. He is affiliated with the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Family Physicians, and Baptist Hospital.
Dr. Thiele received Compassionate Doctor Recognition from Vitals and was named Intern of the Year and Chief Resident by St. Luke's Warren Hospital. His clinical interests include hypertension, diabetes, allergies and preventative medicine. Looking ahead, Dr. Thiele intends to continue to help and heal people.
