Rego Park Medical Associates was founded 50 years ago by Dr. Weissman's father, Harold Weissman, MD. The practice has continued to flourish under his, and now, Audrey's superb qualifications. Dr. Audrey Weissman earned her MD from Meharry Medical College in Tennessee in 1985. She then completed an internship at North Shore LIJ Health Systems, NY, a residency at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, NJ, and a fellowship at Mount Sinai/St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital, NY. She also completed additional training in infectious disease.
