ALISO VIEJO, CA, August 31, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- TenPints Entertainment LLC is raising startup funds through a Kickstarter campaign to support a brand new concert series of contemporary, alternative music in Orange County. The Kickstarter campaign goal is $9,625 by September 4, 2015 at midnight. The concert series will take place at Soka University's Black Box Theatre and is tailored to the University students as well as other local people of all ages who are interested in discovering emerging local bands in a safe and fun environment. Donations can be pledged via https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/tenpintsent/tenpints-entertainment
Founded by Sam Morales and Rebecca Pierce Goodman, the mission of TenPints is to support the creation and discovery of new music while providing a top-quality concert experience for patrons, musicians, and support staff alike. TenPints produces concerts and videos for up-and-coming bands to gain them the exposure they need to develop audiences and boost their careers. The programming philosophy at TenPints is to present an eclectic mix of music, including Rock, EDM, Hip Hop, World Music, Folk, and Spoken Word. TenPints distinguishes itself by its founding principles: compensate artists and staff fairly and competitively, give artists the best hospitality and highest production values of their careers, and give patrons the best customer service and most immersive and intimate concert experience.
Any amount can be donated and reward levels are at $10, $25, $50, $100, $250, $500, $1,000, $2,500 and $10,000. Rewards include swag like T-shirts and bottle openers with the TenPints logo, tickets to concerts, backstage dinners and tours, and name/logo advertising placement for the top three giving levels. Donors can pick the reward they want to determine their giving level. Pledges are only cashed in if the entire campaign goal is reached, so sharing the campaign with likeminded individuals is encouraged.
The concerts will each feature three bands of similar style or genre on September 18 (Indie Rock/Pop), October 16 (Hip Hop) and November 6, 2015 (Alternative Rock) and February 12 (Indie Rock), March 25 (Global Folk) and April 16, 2016 (Rock). Concerts start at 8 p.m. with food available for purchase starting at 7 p.m. Tickets are $25 for general admission with no added fees and free parking, and can be purchased online via http://www.tenpintsent.com, or at Soka Performing Arts Center's Box Office at (949) 480-4278 or 1 University Drive, Aliso Viejo, CA 92656.
