Access Sports Medicine & Orthopaedics provides orthopedic and sports medicine care, comprehensive musculoskeletal services and rehabilitation services, including physical and occupational therapy. With more than 17 years experience, Dr. Siegel oversees a wide range of treatments at Access Sports Medicine, including non-operative and surgical treatments for sports injuries, overseeing the physical therapy of the patients of the practice, directing the athletic trainer program that is in many regional high schools, and educating physicians, mid-level providers and patients regarding the optimal treatment and prevention strategies surrounding sports medicine injuries. In addition to founding Access Sports Medicine & Orthopaedics, he is also the founding member of Northeast Surgery Center, an ambulatory surgery center in Newington, NH.
His industry experience is diverse, as he has served as a USGA Senior Golf Open tournament physician, Senior PGA BancBoston/Fleet Bank tournament physician, volunteer physician for the United States Olympic Committee at the United States Olympic Training Center, and team physician for the U.S. Ski Team. Reflecting on his commitment to youth, he has served as team physician for many Seacoast area high schools since 1998, including Philips Exeter Academy in Exeter, NH.
A fellow of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, Inc., Dr. Siegel's educational background is equally diverse and includes an MD from the University at Buffalo and an internship and residency in orthopedic surgery through SUNY Upstate Medical University. Through a fellowship in sports medicine at the American Sports Medicine Institute, he trained with world renowned Dr. James Andrews.
He affiliates himself with the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, The Arthroscopy Association of North America, and the Sports Medicine Fellowship Society.
