DALLAS, TX, October 10, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Hard Rock Energy Drink will be giving away a pink slap bracelet with every can purchased during the month of October.
More than 15,000 hot pink slap bracelets adorned with the recognizable breast cancer awareness ribbon have been created and will be placed around Hard Rock Energy Drink cans in select 7-Eleven stores in Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth, San Antonio and neighboring cities. A percentage of proceeds from cans sold in October will be donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
The bracelets are part of Hard Rock International's (HRI) 16th annual PINKTOBER campaign. The campaign has raised millions of dollars globally for breast cancer awareness and research.
"Hard Rock Energy Drink is proud to be part of the PINKTOBER campaign," said David Drow, CEO of Enterprise Beverage Group (EBG). "The slap bracelets are fun way to help raise the public's awareness about breast cancer."
Hard Rock Energy Drink recently debuted in the Texas market, unveiling three naturally caffeinated options. Flavors include Paradise Punch, Citrus and Sugar Free Citrus, each with 80 mg of caffeine and formulated with Vitamin B6 and B12.
Now through the end of October, along with receiving a free slap bracelet (while supplies last), Hard Rock Energy Drink is offering a special promotion: buy one, get one free. At participating 7-Eleven locations, when shoppers purchase one Hard Rock Energy Drink for $2.19, they will receive another one for free.
Other PINKTOBER efforts by HRI include the sale of pink merchandise such as a commemorative pin and T-shirts, specialty pink cocktails at Hard Rock Cafes, as well as pink sheets and pink robes in select Hard Rock Hotel rooms. A portion of the retail price of each piece of PINKTOBER merchandise will go directly to breast cancer research efforts.
Hard Rock Energy Drink is a natural energy drink developed by EBG for HRI. EBG also introduced the drinks in more than 40 Hard Rock Cafes across the continental United States, including locations in Dallas, San Antonio and Houston.
