Decision Toolbox CEO Breaks Glass Ceiling for Women, Receives Family Matters Award

    IRVINE, CA, October 29, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Kim Shepherd, CEO of award-winning recruiting firm Decision Toolbox, will be recognized by WomanSage with a Family Matters award for her outstanding commitment to creating a successful - yet unconventional - business model for moms. Shepherd will be honored alongside 11 remarkable community and business leaders at the annual Family Matters awards dinner on Nov. 10, at the Centre Club in Costa Mesa.

Shepherd, a 22-year industry veteran, oversees more than 100 virtual employees around the world, 70 of which are women. In addition to being an unconventional businesswoman, she is a strong supporter of Orange County nonprofit and community organizations. Shepherd is currently the board chair of Working Wardrobes, a board member for CSR Children's Foundation and serves on the Board of Trustees for Girls Inc. of Orange County. Since 2007, she also has been a member of Orange County United Way's Women's Philanthropy Fund and previously served on the board of directors for Girl Scouts of Orange County.
