WEBSTER, NY, November 5, 2015, Attorney Anne Dyring Riley has been recognized for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in the legal field.
Ms. Riley formed Anne Dyring Riley LLC, a New York State Woman Owned Business, in March of 2007 after practicing in large and small firm environments. Her practice is focused in all aspects of commercial real estate, with substantial work on specific telecommunication leases and real estate issues (easements, rights of entry, fiber access rights, franchise and license agreements), development, acquisition, sales, financing, general corporate and municipal laws, wills and estates. She represents clients in their efforts to acquire property, negotiate purchase and sale agreements, applies for and obtains municipal approvals, planning and zoning applications and a variety of types of financing, entity formation including Limited Liability Companies. Her practice also includes estate planning and probate.
Ms. Riley prides herself on providing prompt, efficient service. Utilizing a small staff, she has concentrated on using up-to-date technology which adds to efficiency. Her staff is highly trained, efficient and thorough. Her approach to her work has always been a focus on service for each one of her clients to feel as if they are her only client. Her substantial experience allows Ms. Riley to be responsive to clients' needs on a quick turn-around basis.
Ms. Riley is a member of the Webster Chamber of Commerce, Board of Directors of the Rochester Rotary Club, the Willow Domestic Violence Center of New York Board of Directors and the Legal Aid Society of Rochester Board of Directors. She is also a member of New York State and Monroe County Bar Associations and a member of the Real Estate, Environmental, and Municipal Law Sections of both organizations. Ms. Riley is a former member of the National Network of Commercial Real Estate Women and a former member of the local chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties where she served as Board Member and Board Counsel.
Ms. Riley is a founding member of the Justinian Order of St. John Fisher College. She currently serves on the Board of Directors and has served as the past president and was the 2001 Justinian Medal Recipient (click here to read the press release). She is currently the deputy town attorney for the Town of Webster, New York.
An active member of the community, Ms. Riley has volunteered and mentored at the Wilson Commencement Park which sponsors a welfare-to-work program, and currently is a volunteer at Rochester Central School District School #8 and the House of Mercy on Hudson Avenue in Rochester, which provides assistance to the needy, and she is also an active member of Holy Trinity Parish, Webster, New York.
She and her husband Tim have four children, Michael and daughter-in-law Jenna, Daniel, Clair and Kathryn. Outside of work she enjoys exercising (jogging and snowshoeing), reading and attending her children's activities.
Ms. Riley received her JD degree from the School of Law at the University of Dayton and a bachelor's degree from St. John Fisher College. She is admitted to practice in the State of New York as well as the U.S. District Court for the Western District of New York.
