Dr. Russell S. Walmsley Recognized by Worldwide Branding for Excellence in Gastroenterology

Dr. Walmsley has 29 years of experience in medicine and 15 years in the gastroenterology department of North Shore Hospital. Through years of training and practice, Dr. Walmsley excels in the areas of gastroenterology and internal medicine, and education. At North Shore Hospital, he leads clinical services in nutrition support and acts as head of Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) services and as training lead in endoscopy. Dr. Walmsley holds a position as Clinical Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Auckland.

He is a fellow of both the Royal College of Physicians (London), and the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. Looking to the future, Dr. Walmsley aspires to hold a position as an associate professor of medicine and as a clinical director of medicine at Waitemata DHB.
