In 2015, Ms. Gruetzner received a citation presented for exemplary performance of service to the National Association of State Women Veterans Coordinators Conference.
BURNET, TX, December 01, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Cathleen Ursula Gruetzner, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Weltschmertz Co, has been recognized by Worldwide Branding for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in consulting.
A 6+ year veteran with the U.S. Marine Corps, 12+ years with the Military Postal Service Agency as Senior Postal Manager for National Guard of Texas and 26+ years associated with the Texas Military Forces, Ms. Gruetzner started Weltschmertz Co in 1986 to help others. The company develops groups of volunteers to work in fundraising for nonprofit organizations.
Ms. Gruetzner succeeds every time she gets the chance to prove herself. She has been able to have successful and fulfilling careers in many industries and is capable of doing any task that is assigned to her. Trained by the U.S. Military, Military Postal Service Agency and the U.S. Postal Service, she is a strong public speaker and educator. She excels at picking and training her team and considers watching her military cadets (U.S. Young Marines and U.S. Naval Sea-cadets) grow to be one of her greatest accomplishments. Not one to micromanage, she is able to train individuals to manage themselves as well as to assist others. Ms. Gruetzner intends to continue giving back to the community by doing charity work. She would also like to continue growing both personally and professionally.
In order to become successful, Ms. Gruetzner feels that women need to be fully prepared for the job. Her advice is to find out as much information as possible first. Women need to listen to what is said about the job, as well as learn all the rules and regulations before applying.
Ms. Gruetzner received an associate degree in business from Austin Community College. She is the current vice president of both the Capital Area Branch 201 of the Fleet Reserve Association and the Heart of Texas Chapter (5) of the Women Marine Association, as well as a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and The German Texan Heritage Society.
