Union Process Expands Grinding Media Offering

As our reputation has grown as a trusted supplier of grinding media, we have expanded our offering to now include two new options for grinding media, one of which is appropriate for ball mills rather than Attritors. This line expansion really positions Union Process as a 'one stop shop' for all of our customers' grinding media needs."

High Chrome Cast Balls are appropriate for Attritors and ball mills (depending on the size of the media) and are available in the following sizes:
6mm, 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, 15mm, 17mm, 20mm, 25mm, 30mm, 40mm, 50mm, 60mm, 70mm, 80mm, 90mm, 100mm, and 120mm.

This low cost media has a hardness of 58-60 HRC.

Forged Steel Balls are appropriate for ball mills and are available in the following sizes:
Standard (made by machine) 20mm, 25mm, 30mm, 40mm, 50mm, 60mm, 65mm, and 75mm.
Manual (hit by air hammer) 75mm, 90mm, 100mm, and 125mm.

This low cost media has a hardness of 55-63 HRC.
