BERLIN, GERMANY, February 04, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Rima Overgaard Fayed, Director and Owner of Jiddo Press, has been named a Worldwide Branding Entrepreneur of the Year in Publishing Services. While inclusion in Worldwide Branding is an honor, only a few members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, years of service, and the credentials they have provided in association with their Worldwide Branding membership.
Ms. Fayed has five years of experience as a director and owner of Jiddo Press. Throughout her career, she has set herself apart through her skills in problem solving, SAP enterprise support, ABAP programming, human resources and editing. Each day, she offers layout services for anyone wanting to make books in Arabic and Latin characters.
Ms. Fayed's father wrote a book, "Arabic for Beginners," which sold well and was published six times. Many years later, Ms. Fayed wanted to make a revised version of the book in Danish and English for teaching Arabic. She wrote the Danish and English sections, marketed the book, laid it out, and took care of all practical aspects of its publications. She has also published another book on the spiritual part of religion and how to reach God.
Looking back, Ms. Fayed attributes her success to her mother, Lisbet, who always encouraged her, and her father, Mohamed, who believes she can do anything she wants. With regards to publishing, she separates herself from her peers through extensive experience with making layout in texts containing Arabic and Latin characters. For SAP, she has 15 years' experience with ABAP programming, error search, performance optimization, authorizations, structural authorizations, HR/HCM PA, OM, PY and TM. She became involved in her profession because of her father and the book that he wrote. After graduating with a masters' degree in human geography from the University of Copenhagen, she spent a year teaching at the university. She then went on to working as a SAP developer, gradually expanding her expertise to authorizations and HCM. Her father had written the first Arabisk for Begyndere, Arabic for Beginners in Danish, in 1972, and they received countless petitions over the years to print it again in an edited and revised edition. They finally had the time during her maternity leave, and they made edits and revisions, added 2,500 vocables to the original book, and published it in an English and a Danish version. Furthermore, her publishing company has published her fathers' book, "Islam - Freedom or Determinism?", which is about Sufism and meditation techniques. The highlight of her publishing career has been the publishing of the books "Arabic for Beginners" and "Arabisk for Begyndere," which is the same book in a Danish version. With respect to SAP, her greatest achievements so far were passing her various certifications and working for a number of American, German and Danish companies.
Ms. Fayed received a master's degree in human geography from the University of Copenhagen. In years to come, Ms. Fayed plans to get a Ph.D. in globalization within the IT world, enlighten what is happening in the field, get science involved in the decision process, and become a globalization consultant for corporations.
