Mr. Nicholls is also a Principal at KiStrategies leading the Technical Group, with focus on developing exciting new clean technologies into the commercial market, and bringing existing technologies into the environmental market. With KiStrategies, Mr. Nicholls leads programs focused on R&D, regulator partnership and market integration.

As President of an environmental company based in Beijing, China, Mr. Nicholls recently oversaw its set-up and established several offices and teams. During this time, Mr. Nicholls also managed a sediment remediation program in Southern China, bringing in expertise from Australia and USA, and forming partnerships with local engineering firms, while establishing partnerships with Australian and Chinese governments to provide tailor-made solutions.

Mr. Nicholls appeared on national television in China as a media expert, and served as Chairperson of the Environment Group with American Chamber of Commerce in Beijing and Vice President of the Environmental Bankers Association of Australasia. Mr. Nicholls and his team won a prestigious government award for the Australian company best marketing itself in China in 2012. Mr. Nicholls regularly chairs seminars and panel discussions with regulators and industry on key topics and issues to provide an open discussion base and focus point to advance regulator and industry openness and cooperation.

Mr. Nicholls has more than 18 years of professional experience in technical, managerial and business development focused in the environmental industry. He holds a bachelor's degree in environmental science from Griffith University, where he participated in ecological assessments, macroinvertebrate studies, and geophysical and flora and fauna surveys. Enthusiastic about involvement and advancements within his industry, Mr. Nicholls is a member of the Environmental Institute of Australia and New Zealand, an Australian local government association, the Australia China Business Council and other prominent organizations.
