Doo-Wop Revival: Alternative Rock Band Shy Shape To Debut EP "Out at Night"

The record infuses garage rocker sensibilities with the hushed, smooth tones of the doo-wop era. A mix of DIY and by-the-book production undergirds the band's music, with trash-picked pianos and second-hand horns delivered alongside crisp vocal harmonies and thoughtful, dark lyricism. The combination results in dancey upbeat tracks with haunting undertones. The 4-song EP features the single "River City," an energetic payback song about the highs and lows of a failed relationship.
