Delphi Academy of Boston Takes a Round-the-World Trip with the Geography Fair

    MILTON, MA, April 27, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Geography Fair at Delphi Academy of Boston allowed the local private school's students to teach each other about the world outside of Boston. Each classroom created interactive displays that featured a different part of the world. The students dressed up as people from those countries and they discovered new cultures in the process.

Delphi students learned about art, people and places from all around the world in the Geography Fair. Student displays showed places like Madagascar, Haiti, Norway, Portugal, Bolivia, and Vietnam. Students dressed up as people from the regions they studied, enjoyed the art of the area and even created culturally accurate art displays of their own. Some students took the interactivity to a new level by finding (stuffed) animals that live in the country their classroom displayed and bringing them in for the fair!

The Geography Fair was a hit with parents and students alike. It allowed Delphi Academy of Boston students to discover, learn about and participate in other cultures from across the planet. The school works to foster respect and interest in attending students and the Geography Fair certainly does this with a hands-on approach to other cultures and points of view.
