DEERFIELD BEACH, FL, May 03, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Mark Begelman and Monkey Mayhem stole the show at the Pompano Seafood Festival. The Pompano Seafood Festival this year as usual was a grand success. Known for its wonderful assortments of seafood some of which are exotic and rare, there were a few more reasons why this festival, held from April 22 to 26, 2016, will be remembered. The festival featured some of the greatest music maestros coming in on a single platform and dishing out some of the most mouth-watering music performances to say the least. This included a performance by Mark Begelman. He is a name which perhaps needs no introduction. His band Monkey Mayhem well and truly stole the thunder and gave a stunning performance which will be remembered for many years to come.
Though this festival is known for its memorable musical performances, there was certainly something very special about Mark and his Monkey Mayhem Band which still continues to linger in the minds of the audiences. He rubbed shoulders with some other great names like These Eyes, the famous Canadian rock band. The festival will also be remembered by the fantastic performance given by The Guess Who band. Guess which song they played? Yes, it was the simply intoxicating No Sugar Tonight presentation. There were many other bands too which made those three days very special. Hence there was hardly any doubt that the audiences got their full share of enjoyment and went home fully satisfied.
Staying on the subject of Mark Begelman, it was well and truly a great moment for him. Those who are from Pompano Beach certainly know Mark and his band exceedingly well. He is highly popular and is well and truly a local celebrity. His band has quite a few numbers to offer. Mark Begelman is best known along with partner Keith Ridenour for their Markee Music recording studio. This is the studio where some great names like The Romantics, Rick Springfield and Creed also recorded their music. It certainly is a feather in the cap for Begelman. It may therefore not be surprising to see more of Mark's band in the days and months to come. His band continues to be the favorite for locals and for famous musicians.
The entire atmosphere in Pompano Beach during the three days was electrifying. On the one hand there were these beautiful bands dishing out some of the best music and on the other hand, there was the widest choice of seafood that perhaps the entire world would have seen. All in all it was a great experience.
