With an unyielding desire to help people since the age of 12, Dr. Fischmann earned an MD from Johns Hopkins University in 1980. He went on to complete an internship at Vanderbilt University, followed by a residency in nephrology at UCLA. Since entering the field, he has become an active member of the health care community, as he maintains affiliation with the Renal Society, the American College of Physicians and the Continuing Education Clinic.
Having always attributed his success to his concern for his patients and effective communication skills, Dr. Fischmann has recently been dubbed Professional of the Year by Worldwide Branding, which serves as a testament to his many significant accomplishments in his field.
