Women of Distinction Magazine Selects Loriana Armstrong as a Distinguished Professional in Her Field

    SHOREWOOD, WI, June 04, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Loriana Armstrong, Owner and President of Armstrong General Contracting, has been recognized as a Distinguished Professional in her field through Women of Distinction Magazine. Loriana Armstrong will be featured in the upcoming edition of the Women of Distinction Magazine in 2016.

Beginning her career in the construction industry in 2007 as an Executive Assistant for the president of a local construction firm, Loriana Armstrong quickly learned the project management process and was soon after promoted to the role of Operations Coordinator. Coordinating all running projects for three different companies in three cities, she was making a great name for herself in the field.

Fast forward to present day and Armstrong is now the Owner and President of Armstrong General Contracting, which is based in Shorewood, Wisconsin. As President, she leads with the best of her abilities, always putting her best food forward in order to inspire her employees to pursue excellence, to extend themselves, and to go beyond just performing their everyday job requirements.

Armstrong General Contracting offers remodeling and restoration services that include rough and finished carpentry, roofing, siding, concrete, windows, and painting. They provide general contracting services for small- to medium-sized projects ranging from $5,000 to $750,000. Armstrong specializes in light commercial and residential construction.

But working in a very competitive field that is sometimes hindered by the economy, Armstrong knows the importance of being able to prove herself. Thankfully, she has a wonderful support system at home, especially her husband, who believes in the benefits of hard work and striving for excellence.

Hiring employees from the same communities they service, it's a great way for Armstrong to give back and support her city. Active as a member of Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. of Wisconsin, she also holds a BA in Spanish from the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee.
