Renaissance Houston Hotel Greenway Plaza Named a Six Time AAA Four Diamond Award Winner

After applying to be evaluated by the AAA, the process is very simple. Soon after, one of the AAA's 65 full-time, highly-trained professionals showed up at the hotel, for an unannounced inspection and overnight visit. The Houston, TX hotel was then rated on the following criteria: ambiance, amenities, bathrooms, guest rooms, guest services, grounds, housekeeping, maintenance, management, public areas, room d cor and staff.

After the 12-point inspection has taken place, the properties that have met all the required standards are rated between one and five diamonds. This year, marks the sixth consecutive year that this luxury hotel in Houston has been honored with this highly-coveted award.

A mere 3.4 percent of the over 32,000 AAA Rated hotels and 2.7 percent of the 28,000 AAA Rated restaurants were awarded the coveted AAA Four Diamond designations for 2007.
