Joan Hill Recognized by Worldwide Branding For Excellence in Business Development

Joan Hill was born and raised in the apple country of the Hudson River Valley. Being the youngest of four, her parents, who were both successful in their fields, encouraged her to pursue her passions, which was difficult to do as she was walking in the shadow of three successful siblings. She attended Boston University, where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in German literature in 1969, and this degree ultimately gave her the ability the travel, which she does often. She was offered to become a part of an art program a few years ago, and she jumped at this, thus creating Artful Journeys LLC. As the owner, she researches and organizes art trips, administering and leading the trips along with appropriate mentors.

Ms. Hill has been inspired by her tenacious brother, who became a quadriplegic at the age of 19. She hopes to be remembered for her point of view on the world, and introduction to an appreciation for European culture and art. She has been named one of the Top Female Executives, Professionals & Entrepreneurs by Worldwide Branding in 2016. Additionally, Ms. Hill is an honored member of The International Women's Leadership Association, recognized for her contribution to family, career and community.

Ms. Hill is a member of the Cape Symphony Orchestra Guild, the Cape Cod Chamber Music Festival and the Orleans Chamber of Commerce. She continues her love for music by playing the piano, encouraging her son to play the viola, and supporting classical chamber groups. Ms. Hill attributes her successful career to her organizational skills and finding such loyal clientele, and looking toward the future, she intends to continue to build her program.
