Celebrate National Beer Lovers Day today, September 7, at Dovetail Brewery's Lively Taproom

    CHICAGO, IL, September 08, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Today, September 7, is National Beer Lovers Day. Beat the early September Chicago heat today with an ice cold beer at Dovetail Brewery's taproom as we celebrate National Beer Lovers Day. Especially good on a hot late summer day is the new Grodziskie, a classic Polish beer that's often hard to find. Dovetail's interpretation of this classic brew is light and effervescent and goes down nice and smooth.

New to Chicago's Ravenswood Corridor this summer, Hagen Dost's and Bill Wesselink's Dovetail Brewery (1800 W. Belle Plaine) has risen quickly to the top of the Chicago craft brewing scene. In August, Dovetail Brewery's taproom was named one of the Five Hottest Bars in Chicago Right Now by Chicago Magazine. They produce inspired German and Belgian-style beers using traditional brewing methods as well as specialty seasonal beers. The taproom is open today, from 2 p.m.-10 p.m.

Dovetail's taproom is BYOF (bring your own food), and the outside of Dovetail is a hot spot for Chicago food trucks, so be sure to grab some grub in one hand while you balance a beer in the other. Serious beer lovers, do you still want more? Dovetail also offers one weekly brewery tour, on Saturdays at 11 a.m., and it's a must. The cost is $15, and includes three beers (that would cost $15 anyway in the taproom) during the one-hour tour.
