Women of Distinction Magazine Selects Katafa Hall Reed as a Distinguished Professional in Her Field

Katafa Hall will be featured in an upcoming edition Women of Distinction Magazine's Top 2016 edition.

President, CEO, and Senior Consultant Katafa Hall established Troppus Consulting Services, LLC in 2009, a firm that provides strategic planning, public relations, contract negotiation, and international relations services for both small and large firms. Also specializing in volunteer management, tourism, analysis, leadership development, community outreach, and the assistance with the management of small and large projects and programs, the organization strives to offer clients services at a lower cost than most law firms to help more individuals gain access to necessary services.

Previously working as a Freelance Paralegal, Reed saw, firsthand, just how expensive it is to seek legal counsel. Spending time employed with various agencies that contracted legal employees, she also met many attorneys who were in need of support from paralegals and other professionals but did not know the best way to acquire help. Desiring change, these two ideas essentially became the foundation for Troopus Consulting.

Dedicated to putting customers' needs first, Reed and her experienced team members are committed to always putting the client first. Upon completion of her BS in Psychology at Eastern Michigan University, followed by her Post-Baccalaureate in Legal Studies at the University of Toledo, Reed completed coursework in Political Science at Case Western Reserve University before interning for the City of Cleveland's Department of Law as their Editorial Coordinator for the National Paralegal Reporter. She then spent time as Director of Professional Development of the Cleveland Association of Paralegals and served on the 3Rs Committee of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association's Women in Law Section and on the Corporate Law Committee of the Ohio State Bar Association. Reed also sat on the Board of Directors for Toledo University before serving as Council Placement Advisor for the Junior League of Cleveland.
