Chicago Artist Brandon James's Soul Shines Through His Music

    CHICAGO, IL, October 17, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Chicago R&B artist Brandon James has had a great year. The success of his LP "The Soul Sessions" released April 30th has put him center stage as one of Chicago's leading independent acts. Brandon is a favorite amongst locals and a regular fixture performing at Chicago's top venues. Currently he is hosting his own monthly show Soulful Sundays performing with other up and coming acts, the next show is Scheduled for October 30th and will be at The Elbow Room.

Through much passion and charitable activities Brandon has begun to see his message reach beyond his music and into the heart of the communities affected by the issues he addresses. He hopes to tie in his monthly hosted show Soulful Sundays with like minded business and charitable organizations interested in supporting the event and causes it stands for.

When asked what motivates him to spread his music and message, Brandon only has to point to his new single "Something In The Way." The song is a perfect example of Brandon's signature story, his struggle with depression, struggle with poverty, refuge found in music, and his desire to help others through his music and charities.
