ARMI, Inc. Support Claims That Bad Students Make Great Entrepreneurs

Sales and marketing experts ARMI, Inc. were recently inspired by a video from shark tank host Barbara Corcoran, who stated that to succeed in business people need to get out of the classroom and gain some real world experience.

LITTLE ROCK, AR, November 02, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- In today's society, there is increasing pressure on young people to excel in their education. When at school and college, students are repeatedly told that there is nothing more important than their GPA, and there is intense pressure from teachers, family and peers to perform at a high level academically. As such, students leaving the education system with average to poor results often believe that this will directly impact their opportunities for living a successful life and building a credible and financially stable career.

About ARMI, Inc: http://www.armiinc.com/about-us/

ARMI Inc. has always disputed this and feel that there is far too much pressure on young people to perform well at school. The Little Rock based agency believes that educational performance is not a marker of intelligence or business ability, and even believes that those who struggle in education can make the best entrepreneurs.

The firm was inspired to speak up on this matter after watching a video featuring Shark Tank's Barbara Corcoran. In an interview with Inc. senior editor Kris Frieswick, the serial entrepreneur and business icon explains that she remembers being a terrible student in school and feeling like the dunce of the class. As a result, Corcoran says she was accustomed to never feeling popular and as such didn't feel the need to go with the status quo and seek approval. This experience gave Corcoran the freedom to follow her own path. Without the worry of trying to fit into the educational requirements set out in front of her, Corcoran was able to develop a different skill set focused on communication, empathy and problem solving. Corcoran states that from her own experiences, she believes bad students make better entrepreneurs because they are more visual and creative by nature and have more advanced people skills, and when entering the business field these abilities can help a professional thrive.

After viewing Corcoran's inspiring interview, ARMI, Inc. is eager to promote that failing in education doesn't mean failing later on in life. Grades only measure a select few types of intelligence and the skills needed to excel in business such as emotional intelligence, leadership ability, and capacity to think outside of the box and solve problems are yet to be considered in the current grading system.

ARMI, Inc. believes that aspiring entrepreneurs only need to look at some of the world's most successful entrepreneurs to understand that grades are not a marker of future success. Steve Jobs dropped out of college before graduating, while Richard Branson and Frank Lloyd Wright both left education early to pursue their passions.

Due to their understanding of what it is that makes a successful business professional, ARMI, Inc. does not focus on qualification and academic performance when assessing new candidates. Instead the firm look for passion, determination and a desire to learn practical business skills. In doing so, the firm has been able to benefit from a highly motivated and engaged workforce that many other companies are currently missing out on by being so concerned with GPAs and degrees.
