WASHINGTON, DC, November 02, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Andre Wells, founder and CEO of Events by Andre Wells, LLC (EAW), the go-to event planning firm in Washington, DC, held his 6th annual costume party in Washington DC.
Last month, Mr. Wells held a marquee gala that marked the grand opening of the National Museum of African American History. EAW reached a dual milestone - the honor of showcasing the only national museum devoted exclusively to the documentation of African American life, history, and culture and having reached the 4,500th event for the company.
"What a humbling and pristine honor it was not only to plan an event of this historical significance but just to witness it. America - and the entire world - long awaited the grand opening of the Smithsonian's National Museum of African American History and Culture, so reaching my 4,500th event on this occasion makes it memorable on many levels - a definite high point of my career," said Wells. He added by saying that "meeting Mr. [Lonnie] Bunch was the highlight of the evening for me personally."
Mr. Wells will share his best practices and trade secrets as he hosts a workshop in partnership with the Kimpton Hotel's Mason & Rook property on November 28th. For more details, please call (202) 518-6908.
