To prepare for her career, Ms. Matthews earned a master's degree in speech and language pathology degree, and she is a member of the American Speech and Hearing Association. To give back to others, she supports the Lymphedema Treatment Act. Ms. Matthews has spent her life working on her gift of creativity. She uses it to find ways to think outside the box to help and heal other people. She has been lucky enough to work with hospice in order to help families accept the transition of their loved ones.
