Women of Distinction Magazine Selects Michele Colice Cadwell as a Distinguished Professional in Her Field

    LIBERTYVILLE, IN, November 30, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Michele Colice Cadwell, also known as "The Dancing Granny", has been recognized as a Distinguished Professional in her field through Women of Distinction Magazine. Michele Colice Cadwell will be featured in an upcoming edition of Women of Distinction Magazine's Top 10 in 2016 edition.

Former Educator, Chef, and Realtor Michele Colice Cadwell has a whirlwind of life experience not only in her professional life, but also out there in the real world, especially when it comes to creating positive change. Better known by many as "The Dancing Granny", Cadwell has been make headlines with her elaborate dance moves as a way to publicize her support of various social and environmental issues.

"More than anything, I want people to know that it is never too late to do something positive with your life in respect to making this world a better place to live," Cadwell said. "My dancing is a way to get people to recognize not me, but what I stand for, which is peace, love, equality, and understanding. I also emphasize environmental issues, like recycling, which is so important in today's world."

The wife of more than 40 years, mother of three, and grandmother of two gets much of her energy from her family, whom inspire her to continue doing what she's doing. Recently, Cadwell danced her way onto the Chicago White Sox big screen at a major league baseball game. Fans that filled the ballfield were all able to witness The Dancing Granny's moves in person and it was an exhilarating experience for her.

Cadwell has also spent some time as an Actress. She's acted on numerous television commercials for companies like Ace Hardware, Humira, and Turkish Airlines. She's also been an extra on several television shows, including Chicago Fire and Chicago Med.

A Drew University graduate, Cadwell holds her Bachelor of Arts Behavioral Studies. She also took several classes at the prestigious Art Institute in Chicago. Currently active as a member of Sustain Libertyville, a local organization in her town of Libertyville, Illinois that advocates the need for change locally and across the world, they are currently working to promote recycling and are changing chemical uses of companies that work on people's property.
