Currently the senior practice manager and ambulatory nursing practice lead for Dartmouth Hitchcock Clinic Nashua, Ms. Townsend names her biggest challenge to be juggling all of her responsibilities while meeting the needs of her staff. She is always working to ensure that she is emotionally calm and positive.

Ms. Townsend prepared for her career by earning a Bachelor of Science in nursing from the Addison Campus of Chamberlain College of Nursing in 2012. She also earned an associate's degree in nursing from Middlesex Community College in 1992. She enjoys empowering her staff to succeed and encourages them to be lifetime learners, and is very proud of the fact that she was able to open the Ambulatory Center at Dartmouth Hitchcock Clinic in Nashua in 2012.

Named one of the Top Female Executives, Professionals & Entrepreneurs by Worldwide Branding, Ms. Townsend is an honored member of The International Women's Leadership Association, recognized for her contribution to family, career and community. She remains updated in her field through her affiliation with ANA, SGNA, NESGNA, ASGE, the New Hampshire Healthcare Quality Association, and APIC.
