Women of Distinction Magazine Selects Debbie Phillips as a Distinguished Professional in Her Field

    CINCINNATI, OH, December 15, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Debbie Phillips, Owner and Designer of House Dressing by Debbie, has been recognized as a Distinguished Professional in her field through Women of Distinction Magazine. Debbie Phillips will be featured in an upcoming edition of Women of Distinction Magazine.

Beginning her career in entrepreneurship in 2005, Owner and Designer of House Dressing by Debbie Phillips has dedicated the past 11 years to serving as a one-woman operation. Working with clients to design their dream rooms, whether it be a kitchen, bathroom, or any other room in the house, she focuses her efforts on first designing the space before selecting colors, furniture, and other accessories. Client satisfaction is key to the success of each of her designs, so getting them actively involved in the experience plays a significant role in the overall look and feel of the end result.

"It is also equally important to choose sub-contractors that are bonded, professional, and dependable," Phillips said. "As a designer, you are only as good as they are."

Forming her business after spending several years working for a high-end furniture store company in Cincinnati, Ohio, Phillips gained a tremendous amount of experience and a great clientele in order for her to venture off on her own. She has since completed seven kitchen and six bathroom renovations as well as many smaller projects. She's also developed quite a portfolio and has a selection of fabric books for new clients to find inspiration from.

Active as a Board Member for The Aubrey Rose Foundation, when the organization hosts events throughout the year Phillips eagerly contributes her one-of-a-kind centerpieces to serve as auctions items.

Phillips attended Carthage College as an art major, later completing her degree at The University of New Orleans with a BA in Art with a focus on graphic design and emphasis on fabric and wallpaper design.
