Call for Nominations in the 2017 Design Industry Blogger Awards

    SAN DIEGO, CA, February 09, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Jackson Design and Remodeling (JDR) today announced that nominations are open for the eighth annual JDR Industry Blogger Awards, the industry's premier awards program recognizing the best blogs in the design and remodeling industry. Past winners have included Freshome, Decoist and Sarah Sarna.

The awards highlight blogging excellence in six categories: Architecture, Interior Design, Remodeling, Construction Business, Green Design and Microblog. Nominations are now being accepted online until February 27, 2017.

The goal of the JDR Blogger Awards is to give recognition to the work of industry bloggers, while promoting the professionalism of the remodeling industry and keeping the public informed about the latest trends in home design.

"With more and more consumers looking to the internet for remodeling advice, research and design ideas, design industry bloggers serve an important role in helping to provide both knowledge and inspiration," said JDR President Todd Jackson. "The purpose of the JDR Blogger Awards is to recognize these influential design and remodeling industry bloggers and to support and encourage quality content that serves the public."

Online voting for the 2017 Industry Blogger Awards begins March 6 and ends April 24 at 7 p.m. EST. All six category winners will be announced April 28.
