LOS ANGELES, CA, May 18, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- "From Hollywood To Rose" is an indie comedy that follows the leading lady in the wedding dress with her journey over the night in an eventful day in the city of Los Angeles. The film cleverly introduces each character and uncovers their life story on the bus rides from Hollywood Boulevard down to Venice Beach. The film has a unique, eccentric yet heart warming style that makes the audience laugh, cry and relate.
Among all the characters, the role of Chinese Girl, starred Chia Chen, was without a doubt the show stealer. Her performance as the sassy, sarcastic Chinese Stereotype mail-order bride was just spot on as the ultimate comedy element. From the beginning of her expected Chinese-English accent, racist Chinese stereotypical comments to the unexpected Jujitsu skill combat, her presence in the film is laughter-packed guaranteed.
"From Hollywood To Rose" is currently set to screen at Manhattan Film Fest on April 22nd in NYC, and comes back to the local theatre at NoHo in June. The film is currently in negotiation of representation for other releases.
