2017 "Remodeling 550" List of Top Remodelers Cites Double Digit Growth: Jackson Design and Remodeling Rises to #16 in Nation

    SAN DIEGO, CA, June 02, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Jackson Design & Remodeling (JDR), a San Diego-based design build remodeling firm, announced today that it has earned a spot on the annual "Remodeling 550," coming in at #16 on the list of the nation's top remodelers based on revenue. The annual list, compiled by Remodeling Magazine, revealed a 12 percent increase in remodeling industry revenues over the last year. JDR was among just 15 percent of Remodeling 550 firms, and the only company in the top 25, to also earn a GuildQuality Service Excellence Distinction for receiving a 98 percent client satisfaction rating in an independent survey of its clients.

Todd Jackson, CEO and Founder of Jackson Design and Remodeling, has led his company to tremendous growth, jumping from $5.3 million in revenue in 2009 to a projected $21 million in revenue in 2017.

GuildQuality Service Excellence Distinction: Remodeling Magazine partnered with customer satisfaction surveying company GuildQuality to power the Remodeling 550 Service Excellence Distinction. According to GuildQuality, in the home building, remodeling, and real estate industry, the average customer recommendation rate for businesses is approximately 70 percent. In order to participate, companies had to submit all of their customers from 2016 to be surveyed via GuildQuality's independent, multi-touch survey process. GuildQuality then selected a random sample of customers to survey based on the company's volume. The companies that received the Service Excellence Distinction achieved a recommendation rate of at least 90% and a response rate of 50% to 70%, depending on project volume. Remodeling Magazine's "Remodeling 550" is a list of the nation's largest residential renovation companies. It comprises four categories: full service, specialty and replacement, insurance restoration companies and franchise operations. The rankings are based on CPA certified statements on annual sales volume. In 2016 JDR ranked #19 on the list. This year, the company rose four spots to #16, once again earning a Top 50 award.
