The One for 9/11

    WASHINGTON, DC, September 07, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The One for 9/11, a memorial event honoring the best in people and featuring top inspirational speakers, will be held Sept. 11 at Maritime Conference Center, 692 Maritime Blvd., Linthicum Heights, Md.

The One for 9/11 will feature music, community and world-renowned guest speakers sharing inspiration and strategies for living as your best self and highest potential in business and in life.

Presented by Nancy Matthews and Ken Rochon, the program's theme is "Always Remember. Never Forget. It shouldn't take a tragedy for us to remember to #BeTheOne for each other."

Following disastrous flooding in Texas, organizers will donate net proceeds from The One for 9/11 to Hurricane Harvey relief efforts, Matthews said.

The event is in tribute to firefighters, police, first responders, paramedics, active duty military personnel and veterans who continuously risk their own lives to #BeTheOne to serve and save others. Participants will learn about themes including:

- Always Be The One
- Living The One Philosophy
- Treating Every Person You Meet as The One

"The One for 9/11 came together quickly based on this one common belief," Matthews said. "We came together to 'Be The One' for each other in a beautiful and loving way on 9/11.
